#findabook is a book sharing initiative that I’m very excited to be launching soon! The notion behind #findabook is to participate in a culture of constantly sharing books with the world instead of letting them sit abandoned on a bookshelf. I don’t like to hold onto my books for long and I thought putting them into public places where they might be a pleasant surprise to someone would be delightful. If you’ve found a book, I hope you’ll join me in continuing the cycle of sharing by leaving the book in a public place when you’ve finished reading it. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

Did you #findabook? If you have Twitter or Instagram, take a photo of your find and tag it with #findabook! If you found a book, leave a comment below with your first name, what book you found, and where and when you found the book. A sample comment could look like,

“Hi! My name is Bri and I found Bright Lines by Tanwi Nandini Islam at The High Line in Manhattan in September 2015.”

This is how I’ll be able to keep track of where each book has been so future readers will be able to track all of the cool places the book they’re holding has visited. Pretty cool, huh? Scroll down to see what books are currently out in the world and the last places they were seen!
